How strong is your brew?

Use this tool to determine the alcohol content of your batch, whether it is a cider, mead, or beer. You will need your hydrometer readings from brew day (OG) and bottling day (FG).

How it works

The calculator uses the standard homebrew formula:

(Original Gravity - Final Gravity) * 131.25 = ABV %

If your apparent attenuation levels are below 65%, your fermentation might be stuck!
